Faith Promise Missions Conference 2024
April 24-28; Wed – Sat 7PM; Sunday 10AM, 11AM, & 6PM
Wednesday, 24 April 2024, we will kick off our Faith Promise Missions Conference. Throughout the week we will host several missionaries and hear the burden God has placed on their hearts. Come prepared to hear and support our missionaries and don’t forget the fellowship!
Each service will begin at 7pm with the exception of Sunday which will be 10am, 11am and 6pm. Food will be served at 6pm on Wednesday (Subs), Friday (Pizza) & Saturday (International Dinner).
Saturday will be very special as we will have the visiting missionaries ready to answer any and all questions you may have about what life is like on the field, what food they eat and how they bring different cultures to know Christ. There will also be an international themed dinner before the Q&A.

We have started Bible study groups for our men and women that address issues we will face as Christian parents and spouses in day to day living. Join us to take part in growing in Christ and being prepared for living as a Christian.
Homeschool Days
Next Meetings 26 April; & 17 May 2024
Come join a fun, free event where our homeschooling families gather to encourage and strengthen our children. We meet two times a month and challenge the kids in God’s Word, foreign language, geography and ethics. This is a great time for homeschool kids to nurture relationships and help each other grow. The day starts at 10 AM and goes until around 2 PM. It is bring your own lunch and there is no need to register, just come on!
Faith Bible Institute
Thursdays at 6:30pm
Central Baptist Church offers a practical Bible course taught by Pastor John Yates in Monroe, Louisiana. This training has been the best in practicality and affordability and is worth credit to several Bible colleges. There are six semesters for a three year journey through the Bible. The semesters run January – May for Spring and August – December for Fall. You do not need to be a member of the church to join, contact us for more info! We are now enrolling for the Fall.
Teen Photo Scavenger Hunt
25 May 3-7 pm
Our teen group will seek after clues to try to be the first one to complete our peninsula scavenger hunt. Teams of three will pair up with an adult driver and have fun and fellowship while looking for crazy clues. Food is provided and any teenager is welcome for this free event. We will conclude with a Bible devotion and have a great time! Let us know if you want to participate.

Our kids are consistently faced with challenges to their faith and as the next generation of believers they must learn the Bible and how to defend their beliefs. At Central, we offer many opportunities and classes for your children to learn, grow and connect with God and other children in their age groups.
